COMMANDO DAGGER, FIGHTING KNIFE, 3rd PATTERN.
This is a 3rd pattern commando dagger, blade is excellent and very sharp, the cross guard is marked with a B2 stamped into it, the handle is of solid brass which had been modified to suit its owner, and is finished with a fine nulling to the surface to afford a good grip, the scabbard is is good condition with the brass chape having been black at one time, which now has a lot of the black finish worn off, the handle retaining strap has one piece of leather missing, so it will not lock together, please see photos for the detail.
A very nice unusual piece in excellent condition.

RUSSIAN FRONT MEDAL.
A very good example of a Russian front medal for the winter campaign,1941-1942 (winterschiacht im osten) this medal was awarded to all military and civilian personnel who were involved in the winter campaign in russia. Struck from zink with 99% of its matt black,and 90% of the silver frosting (rhodium) intact with only slight wear from being handled,a wonderful example.

This is two Jewish stars, hard to find and ultra rare in this condition,
100% war time period piece, made from a fine weave cotton that has a silky feel to the surface, then printed black star of David with the word Jude in German in the centre, worn by german jews, these are part of a roll retrieved by the finder in the town of buchenwald at the wars end, size of material piece for each star is approx 9 1/2 cm's wide and 11 cm's tall. these two are for sale as one lot.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT.
During WWII the British were the most adept at producing and designing escape evasion, espionage and assassination weapons and equipment, a complete department called MI.9 was created to develop these weapons. One of the series of assassination weapons were the pencil knives, these were
basically assassination weapons concealed within normal leaded pencils with wooden bodies and other types of writing implements. We are offering three pieces from a very old collection of this type of item.
A 7 inch pencil that when the end piece of lead is removed, out slides the killing blade which is a blue colour rapped in twine to give it grip when used and also to stop it from ratterling when being carried, then there in the ink pen which houses the shorter three sided killing blade which is almost as long as the pen, this fits inside the pen firmly so there is no need for a twine, only at one end to help with grip, there is a cut away of 2 sections showing clearly the killing blade within the ink pen, these particular types are shown in full colour on page 151 of The Ultimate Spy Book by H.Keith Melton. The third item is a triple-edged killing blade known as an assassination dart, each edge has a fuller the full length of the blade, there is also the leather scabbard for this dart, which would have been sawn into the clothing somewhere so as to make it a concealed weapon. these three items come in
there original canvas carrying holdall which is a bit fragile, but complete, and can be handled. The condition of these items is excellent and would make a wonderful addition to that SOE or Special forces collection of concealed weapons.

KNIGHTS CROSS.
A superb German Knights cross award with ribbon, this was assembled from all original parts but assembled post war, we believe from our research this one is by C,E JUNKERS.
As a replacement medal for one that had been lost or taken from the original recipient, the frame is solid silver and marked with the 800 German silver mark at the top of the reverse, and with the iron insert centre, the medal is of three piece construction, the suspension loop or ring to the ribbon is also solid silver and 800 marked to one of the sides,
The medal has a certain patina to it because of its age, and with only very slight wear marks it is in excellent condition.
We have on idea who the original recipient was unfortunately, however all the recipients of this award would remain part of a very exclusive and elite group.
If you were looking for one of these medal that was war time assembled, you would expect to pay anything up to six thousand pounds, (and maybe more), but with this one being post war assembly the price is reflected as such.

EDUCATIONAL POSTER of the THIRD REICH PERIOD. KZ CAMP.
An educational poster of the Third Reich period, these posters were produced and printed for publication, of which there is a series, this one is number 7 of the set , it shows the scene of a SS officer looking very arrogant overseeing the inmates, at a concentration camp, an extremely haunting and emotional piece of artwork yet a very interesting piece of artwork. Printed in the bottom left corner of the poster it reads Stockmann, Presentations on the current history lesson, printed in the middle of the poster at the bottom it reads in German, Hitler unterdruckt opposition durch gewaltherrschaft, korperliche und geistige vergewaltigung in konzentrationslagern, which when translated into English means, Hitler suppressed opposition by tyranny, physical and mental rape in concentration camps. and printed in the right hand corner it reads P.STOCKMANN, VERLAG, BOCHUM. Who would be the printing company that produced the poster.
The artwork is signed by the artist K.FURER.
These posters are very rare and are a good pictorial part of the Third Reich's history. They are in very good condition and would benefit from a good frame to show the artwork at it,s best.
